At Nativity, we pride ourselves with placing the students needs and safety first. In efforts to keep our youth safe, all adults (18+) must complete Safe Parish Training and a background check. This is not only a requirement from Nativity Catholic School and Parish, it is a requirement from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Any adult who is paid or a volunteer and works with the youth, must complete this training and background check. There is no out of pocket cost, just a little bit of time. This online training should take about 45 minutes and can be taken in parts. The Safe Parish training replaces the previous Safe and Sacred Program.
Nativity places the highest priority on the safety and protection of children and is committed to insure their safety and well-being. We appreciate the time you are investing in volunteering with our youth.
There are 4 steps of Safe Parish Training that all volunteers must complete. All sections must be completed.
