At Nativity Catholic School, we are truly blessed to offer an Extended Care Program that provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for our students both before and after school. This service is designed to meet the needs of busy families by offering quality supervision, engaging activities, and a community atmosphere for students enrolled in Pre-K through 8th grade.
Our Extended Care Program includes Morning Care and After Care options:
Morning Care begins at 7:00 AM. All morning care students should report to the gymnasium upon arrival.
After Care is available from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM. After school dismissal, students who are registered for extended care will report directly to the gym. Students are encouraged to bring a snack from home to enjoy during the designated snack time.
The program offers students a balanced variety of structured and free-time activities. Children will have opportunities to socialize, play games, complete homework, participate in arts and crafts, and enjoy indoor and outdoor sports and age-appropriate activities, all under the supervision of caring and qualified staff.
The program is open to all currently enrolled students in PreK through 8th grade.
To participate in Extended Care, families must complete and submit a registration form, which can be found on this page. A $50 annual registration fee will be automatically added to your first extended care invoice. Students will not be permitted to attend Extended Care until the completed registration form has been received.
For the safety of all students:
Only parents or authorized individuals listed on the registration form are allowed to pick up students from after care.
All parents or authorized individuals must enter the school building and sign out their child.
In the event of an emergency, parents are responsible for making arrangements for an authorized backup person to pick up their child.
Staff members are not permitted to transport students under any circumstances.
If your child participates in after-school activities such as scouts, sports, or enrichment programs, they must either be directly supervised by their designated leader/coach or be enrolled in the Extended Care Program during those hours.
We understand that unexpected delays may happen. However, a late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for any student picked up after 6:00 PM. Please plan accordingly to avoid these charges.
Families will receive weekly electronic invoices, and payments are expected to be made weekly or in advance. Consistent failure to keep accounts current will result in students being unable to attend Extended Care the following week. All times are recorded based on the official school clock.
In the event of a 2-hour school delay, Morning Care will still operate as usual, beginning at 7:00 AM.
If weather conditions worsen and the school transitions from a 2-hour delay to a full-day closure, parents will be required to pick up their children by 10:00 AM. Please stay alert to school notifications on these days.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with registration, please don't hesitate to contact Nativity's Extended Care Director, Mrs. Kathy Lambert. We look forward to serving your family through the Nativity Extended Care Program!
